"I don't think anyone is suggesting that a Church be forced to allow a gay couple into their place of worship and a be forced to perform a religious ceremony that is against their religious beliefs. What we're saying is religion lost its monopoly on the concept of marriage the minute I had to apply for a marriage license, get taxed differently by the IRS, and can make legally binding decisions on behalf of my spouse. Once that happened, everybody should get the same rights. Everybody. And not separate but equal rights, but the same rights." -- MUTHAFUCKIN ME.
I really don't get it when some fucking idiots get together with other fucking idiots, and make some half assed attempt to restrict the rights of others. And hand in hand with North Carolina, how is it that Arizona always seems to keep fucking things up for the rest of us, too? You guys just don't get it, do you? A newly introduced amendment -- sponsored by two Democratic Representatives: Raul Grijalva of Arizona and Keith Ellison of Minnesota -- would threaten to cut off crime prevention grants to any state with a Stand Your Ground law on the books, forcing states to eliminate the law in order to receive the grant.
Scars are areas of fibrous tissue that replace normal skin after injury. A scar results from the biological process of wound repair in the skin and other tissues of the body. Thus, scarring is a natural part of the healing process. With the exception of very minor lesions, every wound (e.g. after accident, disease, or surgery) results in some degree of scarring. Early and effective treatment of acne scarring can prevent severe acne and the scarring that often follows. High melanin levels and either African or Asian ancestry may make adverse scarring more noticeable. Scar revision is a process of cutting the scar tissue out. After the excision, the new wound is usually closed up in order to heal by primary intention, instead of secondary intention. Deeper cuts need a multi-layered closure to heal optimally, otherwise depressed or dented scars can result.
Where would rap be without misogyny? And how could misogynist lyrics be communicated in music videos without physical representatives? Enter the ladies of rap videos. Some are creatures of the night, while others are gorgeous specimens with badonkadonks. Regardless of who they are and how they got there, what's important is chronicling their triumphs and defeats for future generations. Here are the rotund rump shaking hip-hop honeys of rap. Hint: even with a ghetto neck tattoo, Angel Melaku is still ridiculously hot.
Mechanical keycard locks employ detainers which must be arranged in pre-selected positions by the key before the bolt will move. This principle was the base for the first known mechanical holecard operated lock, the VingCard, invented by Tor Sørnes. This was a mechanical type of lock operated by a plastic key card with a pattern of holes. In the early 1980s the key card lock was electrified with LEDs that detected the holes. Magnetic strip based keycard locks function by running the magnetic strip over a sensor that reads the contents of the strip. The strip's contents are compared to those either stored locally in the lock or those of a central system. Some centralized systems operate using hardwired connections to central controllers while others use various frequencies of radio waves to communicate with the central controllers.
Oh, and you can now play the ORIGINAL Wolfenstein 3D online. You're welcome. No word on the original-original I used to play on my Commodore 64.
Ernie, Just a quick note about Herbert Pulgar that you linked to on the page today. Thought you might like to see a few photos that were pulled from the little angel's Facebook page before it was taken down when some local bloggers stumbled upon it. His page was also full of Maniac Latin Disciple references. Love the site and have been a fan for a long time. Dan
Eh, I wonder if the kid knew what he was doing, but just said fuck it anyway? Eh, good for him if he did. Sometimes you gotta take a shot, right? At least he didn't end up with 10 years in prison, like Calogero.
The tibia, or shinbone, is the larger and stronger of the two bones in the leg below the knee in vertebrates (the other being the fibula). It connects the knee with the ankle bones. It is commonly recognized as the strongest weight bearing bone of the body. The tibia has been modeled as taking an axial force during walking that is up to 4.7 bodyweight. Its bending moment in the sagittal plane in the late stance phase is up to 71.6 bodyweight times millimetre. In the female, it has a slightly oblique direction downward and laterally, to compensate for the greater obliqueness of the femur. In the male, its direction is vertical, and parallel with the bone of the opposite side.
You know what I love about hockey? It's not a pretentious sport. You don't see too many guys taking dives to draw penalties. And as far as I know, there's not a single player in the NHL who's changed his name to Metta World Peace, Ochocinco, or some other nonsense. So yeah, hockey is a blue-collar, hard-nosed kind of sport. And that even goes for the cheerleaders. What's that? Oh yeah, there are cheerleaders in the NHL. Only they don't just get to stand around looking pretty. Even they have to do something useful. To earn their keep, these women clean off the ice during TV time-outs. That's why they are more often referred to as Ice Girls rather than cheerleaders. Today I'm celebrating hockey's blue-collar cheerleaders with the hottest Ice Girl squads in the NHL.
The Thinker is a bronze and marble sculpture by Auguste Rodin, whose first cast, of 1902, is now in the Musée Rodin in Paris; there are some twenty other original castings as well as various other versions, studies, and posthumous castings. Originally named The Poet, the piece was part of a commission by the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris to create a monumental portal to act as the door of the museum. Rodin based his theme on The Divine Comedy of Dante and entitled the portal The Gates of Hell. Each of the statues in the piece represented one of the main characters in the epic poem. Some critics believe that The Thinker was originally intended to depict Dante at the Gates of Hell, pondering his great poem. Often used to represent philosophy, The Thinker depicts a man in sober meditation battling with a powerful internal struggle.
