In March of 2009, MTA New York City Transit officials today awarded Medals of Excellence honoring 34 NYC Transit employees that have either aided customers or fellow employees in distress, in some cases putting their lives in danger. Medals were awarded in three distinct categories: Heroism, Commendation and Distinguished Service. The entire list can be found here and if you scroll down to Superintendent Bruce Johnson, you'll see that he indeed runs a very clean transit station.

If one of your new year's resolutions was to kick drugs, there's good news especially if you happen to be exorbitantly wealthy: there are rehab centers that cater exclusively to your socioeconomic sphere. Why go cold turkey with the riffraff when you can get on the wagon in style? So, here are nine of the most exclusive (not to mention expensive) rehabilitation centers in the world. These rehab centers are so nice, they make most other rehab clinics look like a nicotine patch and an index card with “good luck” written on it. And almost all of them have the Lindsay Lohan Stamp of Approval.
Here is what a day's relaxation was for a couple --using a drone to take photos of the Niagara Falls, the most breathtaking view that enthralls. Drones are in vogue by the millions--it is a new world. You probably would never have seen Niagara Falls from THIS view. Greg
Speaking of great GoPro footage, here are three GREAT uses for a GoPro HD camera: bouncing boobs, drifting boobs, underwater boobs and surfing boobs. Complete waste of a GoPro HD camera:
Cachaca is the most popular distilled alcoholic beverage in Brazil. It is a distilled spirit made from sugarcane juice and typically between 38%-48% alcohol by volume. The distillation process dates back to 1532, when one of the Portuguese colonisers brought the first cuttings of sugar cane over to Brazil from Madeira. Cachaça is mostly produced in Brazil, where, according to 2007 figures, 1.5 billion liters are consumed annually, compared with 15 million liters outside the country.
Hey Ernie, Just going through the site today and saw this picture. That's not actually Woodchuck Cider. It's a Canadian beer called Moosehead Lager. Cheers! BC in BC
You know what Bruce, upon further review, you are absolutely right. That is Moosehead -- which in Canada is a beer and in Maine is a misdemeanor. Anyway, these are undoubtedly two cans of Heineken, but fuck all if I can figure out what brand of beer cup she's holding.
Pretty much every time the Olympics roll around there seem to be a few new events. However, at the upcoming 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi there will actually be a record 12 new events, making them the biggest Winter Games ever. What are these new events? Well, there are three new mixed events, four new men's events, and five new women's events. None of them are particularly strange—except maybe to Bob Costas—but are rather variations of sports we already know and love. We're going to give you the complete rundown in a moment. Don't be confused by how they are numbered, either. Eight of the new events have a men's and a women's category, so we've condensed them to four, bringing the total number down from 12 to eight. Technically, though, there are still 12 new events. However, before taking a look at the new medal sports, let's start things off with a quick look at a few Olympic wannabe sports that got rejected by the IOC this time around, shall we?
Huh. Kind of an odd place for a dreamcatcher, isn't it
