In Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the B.J. Johnson Company was making a soap entirely of palm oil and olive oil, the formula of which was developed by B.J. Johnson in 1898. The soap was popular enough to rename their company after it - "Palmolive". Around the start of the 20th century Palmolive, which contained both palm and olive oils, was the world's best-selling soap. Extensive advertising included the radio programs The Palmolive Hour and Palmolive Beauty Box Theater. A Missouri-based soap manufacturer known as Peet Brothers merged with Palmolive to become Palmolive-Peet. In 1928, Palmolive-Peet bought the Colgate Company to create the Colgate-Palmolive-Peet Company. In 1953 "Peet" was dropped from the title, leaving only "Colgate-Palmolive Company", the current name.
I'll preface this by saying: NO GAME OF THRONES SPOILERS. Well, I'l llink to a couple, but they're clearly marked and whether or not you click on them is up to you. For those of you such as myself, who have read the books, last night's season finale was of no real surprise. I will say they did a little twist on The Hound; if they followed the book I thought ther bite on his neck was going to do him in, but instead they went in a different direction. I will admit I actually felt a little bad for him though, I know he was on Arya's list but after taking care of her all season, I thought he deserved a little better than that. At least he got a KFC meal deal named after him. [THE HOUND SPOILER] Now for those of you who have not read the books, as for Tywin Lannister and the whore Shae, that played out pretty much like it did in the ass end of A Storm of Swords. So now that her contract is fulfilled, I wonder is
ShaeSibel Kekilli will go back to doing porn or if ehs's got other more traditional acting roles lined up? SHAE AND TYWIN SPOILER.

Summer is pretty much here, which means if you have a wife or girlfriend it's time to start thinking about bikinis. In some households, the urge may be to blow a ton of money on one, but if your cash flow isn't what it used to be you might take solace in the fact that there are some pretty crazily expensive bikinis out there that your significant other probably wouldn't appreciate anyway.
A scratching post is a wooden post covered in rough material that cat owners provide so their pets have an acceptable place to scratch. Cats have a natural urge to scratch: the action helps them remove old material from their claws, and they mark territory with scent glands in their paws. Indoor cats may be prevented from exercising this urge on furniture if they are provided with an acceptable scratching post. The post is mounted vertically in a wide base, which allows the cat to stretch upward on its rear legs and scratch freely without tipping it over. A post that is unstable or does not allow a cat to fully extend its body might put off the cat from using it. Surfaces vary: the post may be covered in sisal rope, upholstery fabric, or the jute backing of a piece of carpet. Many pet owners find they have to experiment with different surfaces to find one that their cats will scratch reliably.
The Peregrine Hybrid Sounding Rocket motor underwent a developmental ground test at NASA Ames Research Center on November 12, 2013. This revolutionary approach uses a paraffin-based fuel and nitrous oxide as the oxidizer, which offers many potential advantages over existing rocket propulsion systems. Stable and highly efficient combustion was achieved. The motor is being developed jointly by NASA Ames, Stanford University and SPG Inc.

Because sometimes common sense needs a little kick in the pants: an excellent step by step how-to on zeroing your AR-15 rifle. Or any rifle, I suppose.
The Beretta Cheetah, also known by its original model name of "Series 81", was a line of compact blowback operated semi-automatic pistols designed and manufactured by Beretta of Italy. They were introduced in 1976 and include models in .32 ACP, .380 ACP -- the model 84 has a double stacked magazine with 13 round capacity, while the 83 and 85 have a single stacked magazine with seven and eight round capacity respectively, and resultant thinner grips -- and .22 LR. It is, from a mechanical standpoint, pretty much identical to its larger 92FS brother, just considerably smaller. As such, it is one of The Boss Lady's favorite pistols to shoot, and from a concealed standpoint, if you like the weight of a steel gun it's a perfect choice there, too. Unfortunately, Beretta discontinued importation of the Cheetah to the United States in 2013, so while you can occasionally find some new-old-stock around, for the most part if you're looking for a nice 84FS you'll have to buy used and you'll end up paying more than the original $699 MSRP. Which makes guns like this one near St Louis, Missouri such a steal. And while .380 ammo is comparatively expensive when stacked up against the longer 9mm round, its lessened recoil makes it a popular self defense around with the ladies.
