Alpha Gamma Rho is a social, agriculture fraternity in the United States, currently with 70 university chapters. The fraternity considers the Morrill Act of 1862 to be the instrument of its inception. Having been signed by President Abraham Lincoln in 1862, it provided land and other financial supports to establish one institution of higher learning in the agricultural and mechanical sciences within each state. Alpha Gamma Rho, referred to as "AGR", was founded when two local fraternities from Ohio State University and the University of Illinois met at an International Livestock Competition in Chicago.

As I mentioned in an earlier post, win, lose or draw, Americans know absolutely nothing about soccer, and have absolutely sero desire to change that fact, no matter how many animals you get to play with a soccer ball. Traditionally, a mojito is a cocktail that consists of five ingredients: white rum, sugar, lime juice, sparkling water, and mint. Its combination of sweetness, refreshing citrus, and mint flavors is intended to complement the potent kick of the rum, and have made this clear highball a popular summer drink. When preparing a mojito, lime juice is added to sugar and mint leaves, the mixture is then gently mashed with a muddler. The mint leaves should only be bruised to release the essential oils and should not be shredded. Then rum is added and the mixture is briefly stirred to dissolve the sugar and to lift the mint leaves up from the bottom for better presentation. Finally, the drink is topped with whole ice cubes and sparkling soda water. Mint leaves and lime wedges, and in some locales a cherry, are used to garnish the glass.

For the most part there are three different places around town that I drink at. Rumrunners for martinis, Fletchers for bourbon, and the Dublin Ale House for beer. That's not to suggest there are no other establishments in the Fort Myers/Cape Coral metropolitan area that serve martinis, bourbon and beer, but those are the places I like best. I try other spots every once in awhile, but if they don't measure up to the previous high water mark, who bother? I guess I'm just sort of the same way with the gun sites I visit; there's nothing wrong with Ammoman, especially with their current deal of $340 (normally $380) for 1,000 rounds of PMC's .223, I just still prefer WikiArms -- if you check their .223 section you'll find the same ammo offered for $322 and later $26 to ship to me in Florida (shipping tends to run high down here because SWFLA is kind of no man's land). Which after shipping is better than Ammoland's regular price, but not as good as their current sale price. So I try to find deals like that and then hunt around for some coupons -- Sportsmans Guide has a free shipping coupon right now -- to see if I can't get shit even cheaper. Alfonso Lincoln Ribeiro is an American actor, television director, dancer and game show host, whose most notable role was that of spoiled, rich Carlton Banks in on the NBC sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air from 1990 to 1996. He played the cousin to Will Smith's lead character. The Carlton character was known for frequently dancing to Tom Jones' "It's Not Unusual," a dance move that gained fame as "The Carlton Dance." Even in a world this difficult, sometimes dreams DO come true: last night was Fresh Prince Night at State College Spikes and Ribeiero Carlton Banks was there to throw out the first pitch. I could describe the majesty further, but it's better to witness it firsthand.
