Deny it all you want, but the Celebrity Rule of Threes is real, and it's happening again. First there was Robin Williams who died on August 11th, followed the nest day by Lauren Bacall. Then noty even two weeks passed before the lose of the Big X, Richard Attenborough, on August 24th. Now we're into September and you'd think it was Joan Rivers who started a new string of famous celebrity deaths, but you'd bw wrong; it was Survivor's Jimi Jamison (think Burning Heart in Rocky IV) who died of a heart attack on September 1st. So we've got one more to go.
Because President William McKinley often wore a red carnation, Ohio officially made it the state's flower in his remembrance. The red carnation is the national symbol of Slovenia, representing love and charity, and in a bridal bouquet with geranium and rosemary it means fidelity, love and hope. In Victorian times, the carnation stood for fascination; deep red was a sign of a love stricken heart, and red for love. Yet, if the carnation was striped, it meant love's refusal. In modern time, the red carnation is a symbol of love, although it can be as passionate as “my hearts aches for you” or as bland as admiration.

Ernie, I wanted to make sure you saw this ... I remember reading that you met Bernie at the White House ... I worked with him for 2 years in the early 80's .. he was a great guy ... I'm sad to say that after the airline closed down we never talked again. Great site ... Thanks Brad, Sandy, Utah
Yep, I met Colonel Fisher when I went to the White house for SFC Paul Smith's Medal of Honor presentation back in 2003. I asked to take a photo with him and he kindly obliged. So long, Colonel Bernard Fisher, we hardly knew ye.
Martha McSally is a retired United States Air Force colonel. She was the first American woman to fly in combat since the 1991 lifting of the prohibition of women in combat, flying the A-10 over Iraq and Kuwait in support of Operation Southern Watch. McSally is also the first woman to command a USAF fighter squadron, the 354th Fighter Squadron based at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base. After her military career, McSally ran as the Republican candidate for Arizona's 2nd congressional district in 2012, where she lost in a close race but is running again in 2014, winning the Republican nomination for Arizona's 2nd district. As thanks for her many years of servie to our country, she is of course being shit upon by Gabby Giffords and her stupid shit husband. Why? Because mcNally is pro Second Amendment, of course. I find such blatant hypocrisy to be literally unbelievable.

Hey Ernie, hope you are well. On the to do list, I have changed every setting of the picture imaginable and I am still unsure of myself. As far as the top item, I am 94.6 percent positive that it says "Cheap Curling Iron". Now, the second item is giving me fits. Mike C.
First item is a Chi Curling Iron – Maybe she's into the “Air” model. I thought the second item would be a V.S. Hat (Victoria Secret hat), but I thought others would have already sent that in? Keith
Holy shit, when did I order that set of three knives, Wednesday afternoon? They're due to be delivered later today.... and that's with free shipping! So if you're late to the party, those and other Kershaws are still available for Jimmy John's freaky fast delivery.
We know it's hard to beat the pairing of chocolate and strawberries...there's just something about the amazing match of sweet and tart. And every Casanova knows that champagne is a great pairing with chocolate strawberries, but the question is, which champagne is best? A rosé champagne is the perfect match, as it is a blend of red and white wine, and offers a full body that parallels the richness of the chocolate.
I'm sorry but isn't jelly supposed to be refrigerated after it's been opened?
