I Always Remember You Fondly, John Carmack.

Attention old school DOOM fans. Here's a great way to pass 22 minutes of your lunch break. Just sit back and watch this new Doom II world record, where a guy completes the ENTIRE fucking game -- without cheat codes and without being killed once -- in just under 22 minutes. To watch him complete some of these levels is absolutely mesmerizing; ones that took me 20 minutes to blunder through, he finishes in 50, sometimes 40 seconds. It really is a great way to take a short jaunt down memory lane and at the same time be genuinely entertained.

A few weeks ago someone paired wine with Girl Scout cookies. Then they paired beer with Girl Scout cookies. My God, what's next, bourbon? Yep, they just paired bourbon with Girl Scout cookies. You're welcome.

I never played Jai Alai, but there is something special about watching skinny men hurl rubber and goatskin covered balls at 200 mph. While I doubt you can exact the same hurt as the most lethal ball of any sport, you can send tennis balls flying at a high rate with this plastic xistera. Styled like the handheld xistera used by actual jai alai players, the plastic contraption takes on the same curved wicker basket shape for sending tennis balls flying remarkable distances.

I suspect a parent will have the best chance with this photo challenge; towards the bottom of the DVD rack is How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days -- but what's that purple DVD towards the top? My Spidey senses tell me it's animated.

Hey Ernie, My Boss Lady is ready to cover my ass with her M&P 9 when we're out and about in some of our beloved city's finer neighborhoods. Looking for your input on a waistband holster. My BL has similar features and I wondered what you're take is on a holster for the fairer sex? Rob in Rochester, NY

Ernie. 1)The mutt's doing OK- she has the wife and I trained quite well. Still terrified of everything, but at least she's figured out as long as she's with us life is OK. Two pictures - one with her sleeping in the wifes dirty pants, and the other where I've tucked her in one of my dirty shirts. 2) Enclosed, a DIY 22LR reloading/cartridge rebuilding kit. Seems pretty slick - think I'll order one. - Larry

Personally, I am not altogether impressed with the longevity of the Remora holsters. Fresh out of the packaging, it was pretty awesome. I put the holster on and did a few ass shakes and squats and twists, and really expected the gun to start sliding down into my underwear. Much to my surprise, the little rubber nubbies were grippy as shit and held onto everything. But as minutes turned into weeks, I noticed a steady decline in the Remora's ability to stay put. The little rubber nubbies that are so great at holding itself in place are also great at holding onto: dirt, dust, lint from your clothes, oils from your skin, and a multitude of other shit. Now you can take an alcohol wipe and go after it every so often, but much like a kid's jelly toy that you throw at a wall, it never quite regains the sticky grippiness it had when you first got it. Here's a photo of my Remora -- notice all the white lint that's stuck to the rubber nubbies -- and I literally just wiped it down with an alcohol wipe 10 seconds before this photo was taken. Which is why mine has been demoted to sitting-on-the-computer-desk holster.

If you're looking for an inexpensive IWB holster, pick up some inexpensive Uncle Mike's somewhere; no frills, but it gets the job done and with it physically clasping over the top of your pants, you don't get that droopy feeling. If you don't prefer a custom made holster specifically designed for your carry gun, consider a kydex holder from someone like RDR Holsters -- just let therm know what pistol you would like a holster for and what type of mag pouch (single, double, 2 singles), flashlights, carry knives, or whatever. You can check out what they've done so far on their Facebook page or their main website.

As for reloading .22 I honestly had to look and make sure it wasn't a hoax site. My first thought would be, why? I mean I understand that yes .22lr is in high demand right now and finding some locally can be somewhat of a challenge, but it's still readily available online and .22 ammo is still relatively inexpensive when compared to other calibers. My second thought would be, how? You prime a rimfire cartridge as follows: powdered primer is dropped into the empty case, which is then spon and centrifugal force disperses the primer evenly throughout the hollow rim of the cartridge. When that round is fired, the firing pin crushes a portion of that hollow rim; that damage can't be undone. So if you try to reload by dropping in more primer and spinning it, there will always be a dead area of the rim that will have no primer. I can't imagine the number of misfires you'd have with reloaded rimfire ammo. Or am I missing something here?

Those titties are walking down 6Th ave in New York, The sign is for Little Brazil, I tried to get a street view But Google Earth keeps crashing in these larger centers, heard it might be due to the 3d images but who knows for sure. Rick

Here it is, "46th/Little Brazil" in Manhattan. I never heard of it either and I've lived here my whole life. Keep up the good work! Peter

If you've got such a nice Samsung LED monitor, you'd think you'd be able to afford a better inkjet printer, amirite? Bonus points if you can tell me the model printer.

The green sea urchin -- called so because of its characteristic green color -- is commonly found in northern waters all around the world including both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans to a northerly latitude of 81 degrees and as far south as the Puget Sound (Washington State) and England. The average adult size is around 2 inches, but it has been recorded at a diameter of 3.5 inches. The green sea urchin prefers to eat seaweeds but will eat other organisms. They are eaten by a variety of predators, including sea stars, crabs, large fish, mammals, birds, and humans.
