I bet you didn't know an alternate ending to Demi Moore's 1997 smash hit, G.I. JANE, was secretly filmed without the knowledge of Disney/Hollywood Pictures Executives! When Ridley Scott first screened the film for execs, he shocked and surprised them with the ending in which Demi Moore dies. Both endings were test screened simultaneously and although the darker ending scored higher with audiences, the happier ending was chosen by executives. Similar to the alternate ending for "Thelma and Louise", the alternate ending for "G.I. Jane" was a dark yet bittersweet one: Jordan O'Neill (Moore) is killed when she risks her life to save her Commander (Viggo Mortensen) then eulogized on television by the tough Senator (Ann Bancroft). Later, the camera pans through a fresh group of SEAL recruits, among them three women.

Hey Ernie, I thought this was going to be a snap, since you did most of the leg work. I Googled the other names on the sign post, Kampa is a park area near Charles Bridge, and there is a tourist information center near there. I also searched for more pictures and found more shots of the area here [original link (which appears to be broken right now, so here's a cached copy], then it was a matter of looking around until I found it here. Hey I need someone to double-check my location of this photo near the Berlin Cathedtral. I had to back up to the point where the angle of the street looks right, but the green spire and square building look too far away. Am I too far away, or is that just the bug-eyed view given off by Street View's spherical camera lenses?
