"Our Constitution is being shredded. We know about the secret wiretaps, the secret military tribunals, the secret White House email accounts. It's a stunning record of secrecy and corruption, of cronyism run amok. It is everything our founders were afraid of, everything our Constitution was designed to prevent." - Hillary Clinton, 2007
I've always been amazed how one political party will quickly condemn the other for a given act, and then at the very next opportunity commit the same act themselves, all while denying their own hypocrisy. This quote was from a Take Back 'Murica speech from 2007, where she calls out Republicans for making people feel invisible, violating the Constitution, infringing upon civil rights, secret email accounts, AGs losing their jobs as political retribution, using the weight of government against political enemies, and s shit ton of other transgressions. And then she turns around and becomes part of an administration that does the EXACT SAME SHIT, but somehow this time it's supposed to be okay because donkey and not elephant. But what pisses me off the most is the same people who were so vocal about GWB's transgressions -- and rightfully so -- are now the same hypocritical assholes driving around with HILLARY 2016 bumper stickers.
OKAY! HUGE, but potentially temporary win on the BATFE/XM855 ammo ban arena. After receiving some 80,000 pieces of feedback -- most of which were negative -- it looks like the BATFE has backed off of the X855/SS109 ammo ban; at least for now. “Although ATF endeavored to create a proposal that reflected a good faith interpretation of the law and balanced the interests of law enforcement, industry, and sportsmen, the vast majority of the comments received to date are critical of the framework, and include issues that deserve further study,” the ATF said Tuesday. I'm already starting to see LGS lower their ammo proces accordingly, and people around me are already dumping their green tips at more reasonable prices: as late as yesterday, this ad for PMC X-Tac X855 for $489/1000 rounds, which is right about what it was still selling for online ($500/1000 rounds). Five years ago, I picked this case of loose PMC X-Tac X855 for $300/1000 rounds including the ammo can. Then as soon as this morning, a full 20+ hours after the BATFE threw in the white flag, here's American Eagle for $400/1000. So we're not back down to the norm yet, but certainly down from the frenzied high... this is why I'm always yammering about paying attention to ammo prices and how much the cents/per round is important.
Surely I can't be reading this right. Insect Repellant Bug Butt? That doesn't make any sense at all.
Hey Ernie, Came across this video on fb. I don't usually like these but this one is pretty good. According to the guy who filmed it, Darrell Tate, the two guys were being drunk assholes, starting fights with girls, when the Deputy came over and put both of them down. I like when they are kicking sand in Asshole #1's face while he is on the beach. Tim
I'd have liked it a lot more if someone came to the Deputy's aid a little sooner, but all's well that ends well. I gotta give it up for Asshole #2 though, not willing to leave his buddy behind. Just goes to show you kids, always think twice before posting something online.
In the historic town of Oatman, Arizona sits the haunted Oatman Hotel. Oatman was first established as a tent city in the early 1900s and the historic hotel, called the Drulin Hotel, was built in 1902. The eight room hotel did a brisk business to area miners, especially after two miners struck a rich vein that would end up being a 10 million dollar gold find in 1915. Prior to that time the town had been little more than a mining camp. The rich gold discovery brought hundreds of new settlers and within one year's time, Oatman had grown to more than 3,500 residents. In just a few short years, Oatman suffered three major fires that almost destroyed the town. However, the town was rebuilt, and the Oatman Hotel was repaired in 1920, continuing to host its many guests.
I'd like to gently and lovingly point out as an NRA firearms instructor, that similar dangers of breech blasts can occur with 12 gauge and 16 gauge shotguns. A normal 16 gauge shell will travel roughly 1/3rd to 1/2 of the way down a 12 gauge barrel before its caught on the choke; follow that with a 12 gauge and you're looking at a face full of 10,000 to 12,000 PSIG destruction next to your hands and face. Keep up the good work- Larry
Pride Week is a ten-day event held in Toronto, Canada, during the end of June each year. It is a celebration of the diversity of the LGBT community in the Greater Toronto Area. It is one of the largest organized gay pride festivals in the world, featuring several stages with live performers and DJs, several licensed venues, a large Dyke March, a Trans March and the Pride Parade. The centre of Pride Week is the city's Church and Wellesley village, while the parade and marches are primarily routed along the nearby Yonge Street, Gerrard Street and Bloor Street. Please show me exactly where along the parade route this photo was taken.

And then what are you prepared to do? If you open the can on these worms you must be prepared to go all the way. Because they're not gonna give up the fight, until one of you is dead. You wanna know how to stop an ATM thief? They pull a needle, you pull a gun. He sends you to the hospital, you send him to the morgue. That's the South Carolina way!
