Four-Twenty is a code-term that refers to the consumption of cannabis and by extension, as a way to identify oneself with cannabis subculture or simply cannabis itself. Observances based on the number 420 include smoking cannabis around the time 4:20 p.m (16:20) on any given day, as well as smoking and celebrating cannabis today, April 20, which is 4/20 in U.S. form. In Colorado, the Colorado Department of Transportation replaced the frequently stolen Mile Marker 420 sign on I-70 east of Denver with one reading 419.99 in an attempt to stop the thievery.

Do you remember Ornella Muti, better known as Princess Aura from 1980's Flash Gordon? Because that's who this chick reminds me of. Lots of red in that movie. Added bonus: just this morning I learned Sam Jones -- aka Flash Gordon -- made a cameo in Ted.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration prohibits employees from using a portable fire extinguisher unless they've been trained to recognize when and how to use it. Organizations are required to provide this training when employees are first hired and annually thereafter. Employers are also advised to establish a policy clarifying who is qualified to use fire extinguishers, the situations in which they can and should be used, and the proper procedures for use. OSHA requires that the employer shall mount portable fire extinguishers so they are accessible to employees. There is no height requirement listed, however the agency states: “To prevent fire extinguishers from being moved or damaged, they should be mounted on brackets or in wall cabinets with the carrying handle placed 3-1/2 to 5 feet above the floor."
Now me personally, I wouldn't want my significant other messing around with my home theater, simply because I'm a gadget guy at heart. But I'll be damned if that ice cream doesn't look good. With the white maple leaf on a red beackground, makes me wonder if it's a Canadian ice cream chain or something? Any ideas?
Boy, there sure are a lot of taxis outside of this art museum. I wonder what the big draw is at that place?
The AK-74 is an assault rifle developed in the early 1970s, by Russian designer Mikhail Kalashnikov as the replacement for the earlier AKM; itself a refined version of the AK-47. It uses a smaller 5.45×39mm cartridge, replacing the 7.62×39mm chambering of earlier Kalashnikov-pattern weapons. The rifle first saw service with Soviet forces engaged in the 1979 Afghanistan conflict. The head of the Afghan bureau of the Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence claimed that the CIA paid $5,000 for the first AK-74 captured by the mujahadeen during the Soviet war in Afghanistan. You can score an AK-74 for only $499, one-tenth of that price.
Incorrect diving techniques can cause serious problems, including cuts, soft tissue or spinal cord injuries, and even death. For starters, wear the proper gear when swimming and diving to avoid hurting your head. Goggles help you see the bottom of the pool more clearly so that you do not make contact once you go under. Check the water depth prior to diving. Make sure sure that the water is deep enough for you to dive without hitting your hands, arms or head on any surface. Start out with your arms outstretched to your sides, then push off with your toes with your hands and arms reached in front of your head. Steer your body upward with your hands, arms, torso, and legs once you enter into the water.
