Like David Dudley says, "When someone you love walks through the door, even if it happens five times a day, you should go totally insane with joy."

High-speed Sea Service or Stena HSS is the name of a class of high-speed craft developed by and originally operated by Stena Line on European international ferry routes. The HSS 1500 have an in-service speed of 40 knots. Several patents were registered to Stena Line in the development of the HSS, and four vessels were ultimately completed during the late 1990s; Stena Explorer, Stena Voyager and Stena Discovery were built to operate around the British Isles with Stena Carisma built for Scandinavian use. The newest of the craft was renamed HSS Discovery after being sold to a ferry company in Venezuela during 2009.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Quentin Tarantino "really wants to get people back into theaters," and he has a plan to make that happen. Tarantino shot his latest film, The Hateful Eight, in the elite 70mm format — in fact, he used an even more rare variant of the 70mm format, called Ultra Panavision 70, which results in a very wide image. The Hateful Eight stars Kurt Russell, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Walton Goggins, Demián Bichir, Tim Roth, Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, and Samuel L. Motherfucking Jackson!

Sometimes, every once in a while, I come across a photo challenge that is so creative and so genius, that I actually get a little bit proud of myself. I need you to show me where to park and make a delivery!

Your Rubik's cubes post reminded me of this fellow who, while not showing any boobs or anything, manages to juggle several cubes and solve them while doing so. Patrick

That would have been Bay Lighting & Design Showroom Effects, 1140 Folsom St. San Francisco Ca.Looks like they closed around 2013 and merged with City Lights 1585 Folsom St. Looks like they reduced the speed from 30 to 25 but still have the radar speed sign. Rick

Figured a Mosin fan such as yourself would appreciate this. (Not me, btw). Kevin

For those of you who don't recognize, that's the stamp for the Izhevsk factory, which along with Tula factory the two Russian (and later Soviet) arsenals to produce the Mosin Nagant rifle. Which was, is, and always will be the best bang for your buck -- and here's how to decypher the headstamp to identify your surplus ammo.

Okay, kind of a softball one. The pharmacist you can link to a Kroger, a Meijer, and a CVS. It's the store manager who's the key to finding this location. Which is now up for lease, bt the way.

Did you know the first computer mouse was made from wood? Or that mouse movement used to be measured in Mickeys? Or a Polish engineer is working on installing an entire computer inside a mouse housing? Yeah, I have to admit there were several things about the computer mouse that I didn't know.

When lava enters the ocean for extended periods of time, new land is created in the form of a fan-shaped platform known as a lava delta. Lava pouring into the ocean from either surface flows or lava tubes cools rapidly, usually shattering into sand- to block-size fragments. These fragments accumulate along the submarine slope to form a loose foundation that will eventually support overlying lava flows that build the delta above sea level. Pahoehoe lava is a type of basic lava, such as that ejected from Hawaiian volcanoes, having a smooth, swirled surface. It is highly fluid and spreads out in shiny sheets associated with highly fluid. When entering the ocean at a new location, the lava either oozes across a cobble or black beach or spills over a sea cliff, typically 1 to 5 m tall.
