The Rome Metro is an underground public transportation system that operates in Rome, Italy. The network opened in 1955, making it the oldest in Italy. The Metro comprises three lines – Line A (orange), Line B (blue) and Line C (green) – which operate on 54.7 kilometres of route, serving 68 stations. The original lines in the system, Lines A and B, form an X shape with the lines intersecting at Termini Station, the main train station in Rome. Line B splits at the Bologna station in two branches. Line C is not yet connected to the rest of the Metro network. Plans have also been announced for a fourth line, Line D.
The Rift is a virtual reality head-mounted display developed by Oculus VR. The Oculus developer kit was an initial version financed by a Kickstarter crowdfunding campaign, which sought to get the initial Oculus Rift into the hands of developers to begin integration of the device into their games. Since then, four different iterations of the hardware have been revealed to the public -- as such, some parents' results are a little better than some of the others. The consumer version of the product will be released in Q1 2016, and will come bundled with an Xbox One controller to aid in navigation.
Tomatoes are one of the most vital and versatile vegetables to have in the kitchen, but they can also be hard to check for quality. How can we know whether the tomato we're buying is going to be a juicy treat or a flavorless disappointment? While appearance is a good indicator of quality, don't be fooled by a pretty exterior. Like many fruits, tomatoes are often picked while they're still green, making them more durable for transport but less palatable once they get to the grocery store. Often they ripen in transit, but some tomatoes are sprayed with ethylene gas to speed up ripening. Artificially ripened tomatoes are bland, so for the best grocery store tomatoes, look for the phrase "vine-ripened" or find a farmer's market where you can buy from local growers.
Turns out, I think you're 100% correct. In fact if you pay attention to the pattern of tiles starting at the bottom and working up, it's dark, medium, medium, dark, medium, light. Well played, Rick. And again, if anyone else out there ever wants to challenge one of these answers, please feel free to do so as you're not being ambitous at all. In fact, I think it makes things a little more entertaining. In fact, it was just this morning that I realized it's been a long time since I've added a new handgun to my collection. I really like the looks of this revolver. What's the make and model that I should start shopping for?
With the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup is officially underway in the Great White North, today we're going to take a look at the 20 hottest players, so let's get started. I call dibs on Nayeli Rangel from Mexico, and if you like your roast beef sammiches, Hope Solo is in there, too.
Breakdance is an amusement ride designed by HUSS Park Attractions and immediately upon release in 1985, the ride design proved to be an instant hit. HUSS now produces four varying designs, all of which can be acquired in transportable, semi-permanent, or permanent forms. Breakdance consists of a dodecagonal platform (12 sides) with a diameter of 20 meters, upon which are mounted four hubs, each bearing four two-person cars. The entire ride is on an incline of 7.5°. When the ride is activated, the platform rotates, the hubs rotate in the opposite direction to the platform. The combination of the platform slope, hub movement, and weight displacement within the cars cause them to rock back and forth, the oblique join mount and the motion of the ride allowing the cars to rotate through 360°.
You know, at first I thought there's no fucking way William could be right, since I've sailed out of that port three times. But sure enough, look that shit up Google Maps, spin to 3D view and here's the white house north corner of Fisher Island and the green and white cranes on the south side of Dodge Island. I'll be a son of a bitch. By the way, that address is a 3 bedroom 4,800 sq/ft house valued at just over $9 million dollars.
Aspiring black police officer Steffon Josey-Davis was pulled over for a routine traffic violation in 2013 and thereafter charged with a second-degree felony for a having a legally owned gun in his glove compartment. The felony derailed Davis' hopes of being a police officer. He reached out to the NAACP for legal help, but they refused to get involved. So, after being snubbed by the NAACP, Davis' only remaining hope of getting the felony removed was via an appeal for pardon to Governor Chris Christie. Thanks to the tireless efforts of the New Jersey Second Amendment Society, that happened yesterday morning.
Most men admit to having at least 25 pairs of socks in their drawers. Whilst black and grey remain traditional staples, they are being rapidly overtaken by more stylish offerings. No longer just a comfortable backdrop for the shoe to take centerstage, the sock is stealing the limelight, providing a spectacular palette which says a huge amount about the personality of their owner. Buying patterns have changed, particularly amongst young men who are now choosing their own array of socks. There is now such a variety of sock designs available that socks have become one area of a man's wardrobe where anything goes.
