Pat's King of Steaks is a Philadelphia restaurant specializing in cheesesteaks, and located at the intersection of South 9th Street, Wharton Street and East Passyunk Avenue in South Philadelphia, directly across the street from rival Geno's Steaks. It was founded in 1930 by brothers, Pat and Harry Olivieri, who are credited with the creation of the Philly cheesesteak. After pulling back from expansion and franchising efforts in the 1980s, the business was divided up by the Olivieri family. Harry and his son kept the original location, today run by Harry's grandson, Frank Jr. So here's an easy peasy challenge: show me exactly which sign this photo was taken with.

Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States. Dating back to 1865, it was on June 19th that the Union soldiers, led by Major General Gordon Granger, landed at Galveston, Texas with news that the war had ended and that the enslaved were now free. Note that this was two and a half years after President Lincoln's Emancipation Proclamation - which had become official January 1, 1863. The Emancipation Proclamation had little impact on the Texans due to the minimal number of Union troops to enforce the new Executive Order. However, with the surrender of General Lee in April of 1865, and the arrival of General Granger's regiment, the forces were finally strong enough to influence and overcome the resistance.
When I drive back north later this summer, odds are I'll be stopping somewhere near Baltimore since it's the half way point and I'll need to fuel up and such. I like the looks of this Wawa. Show me where I'm headed to. Hint: here's the Bedding & Futon Discounters.
Ernie, if the asshole that hit you while you were taking this photo of the Asian chick was driving a blue Subaru Imprezza, then the guy you're looking for who blocked him in is right here. Unfortunately, that car doesn't show when you slide right or left, so I can't positivtely identify the make and model. What is that, some sort of Toyoya? Hyundai, Maybe? Craig
Ernie, What is your success rate on using the wikiarms walmart inventory search? In my area it says its in stock or limited stock but when I go there its NEVER available. keep up the great work on ehowa! Dwayne
Well, it's accurate, but only for a limited time. Wikiarms pulls that data directly from Walmart's website; unfortunately, they only update once a day, usually around midnight. What that means is they update to reflect all of the new stock that comes in the overnight trucks. All of the Walmarts near me don't sell ammunition until 7am... meaning if you check between midnight and 7am, it's 100% accurate. But, someone could sneak in there at 7:01 and scoop up all of the .22 that just hit the shelves, and you'd still "see" it as in stock until the inventory is refreched the following midnight. Translation: early morning works best.
Doing some shopping the other day, I was sure I stumbled across diabeetes in a box. I mean what could be worse, amirite? Surprise... Gummy Pizza in a Box.

You know, I have to be careful with some of those Russian ones. I was going to challenge you to find this bollard but if you trace it back to the original gallery it turns out they have everything already mapped out on Google Maps!
Not to be confused with Halo 3's Legendary Edition, which came with a scale replica of the Master Chief's helmet, Microsoft Studios has just announced that Halo 5: Guardians Limited Collector's Edition will ship with include a statue of Master Chief and Spartan Locke.
Anyone worth their photo challenge salt shouldn't have too much trouble telling me the exactly date this photo was taken.
