NASA conducted a developmental test firing of the RS-25 rocket engine, on August 13 at the agency's Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. The 535 second test was the sixth in the current series of seven-tests of the former space shuttle main engine. Four RS-25 engines will power the core stage of the new Space Launch System rocket, which will carry humans deeper into space than ever before, including to an asteroid and Mars. That's right, motherfucker: 'Murica, fuck yeah!
Marcela Luz Valladolid is an American chef, author, and the host of the Food Network television series Mexican Made Easy, and a co-host of the Food Network television series The Kitchen. Valladolid joined the staff of Bon Appétit magazine as an editor and recipe stylist, and competed on the 2005 series The Apprentice: Martha Stewart, in which she came in fourth place. Valladolid may not be the first celebrity face to have her own line of chips, but as far as I know, she is the first celebrity chef star to have her own line of torilla chips. Valladolid resides in Chula Vista, California.
Last week Ronda Rousey did an AMA where the always-candid UFC star was asked whom she'd like to play in a superhero movie. Her answer? Captain Marvel, which sparked a flurry of illustrations from the Internet's artistic talents, some of which she shared with her fans on Instagram. As for me? I'll be in my bunk.
You shouldn't have too much difficulty showing me exactly where this Goatse hack took place, but I'll be impressed if you can tell me the make and model of this scooter. Yes, you should pay attention to the speedometer cluster.
Remember last year when the media was trying to convince us the Ferguson riots were contained to just those poor unfortunate neighborhoods being oppressed by the big bad local police department? Well here's a map of the looted businesses and you'll see the damaga e stretched all the way down to St Louis itself. Which coincidentally, is exactly where this 93-year-old Tuskegee Airman had his car stolen and was robbed in two separate incidents on Sunday night, perhaps as part of the annual festivities that seem to be occurring?
Smith & Wesson's production of a large N-frame revolver chambered in .44 Magnum began in 1955; but the Model 29 designation was applied in 1957. It remained primarily the province of handgun enthusiasts, some law enforcement personnel and hunters until 1971, when Clint Eastwood made it famous as "the most powerful handgun in the world" in the movie Dirty Harry. After the movie's release, retailers had trouble keeping the Model 29 in stock. In the late 1990s, Smith & Wesson discontinued production of many models of revolvers, including the basic Model 29; since then the model, in limited or custom configurations, has been manufactured in as many as 10 evolutions. Yes, there's nothing quite like the weight of a nice engraved Smith and Wesson Model 29 revolver sitting in your hand. And something like this is an heirloom, you'll be able to pass along to your children and grandchildren.
A smooth, full-bodied nut brown ale, lightly hopped with a hint of roasted and crystal malts, Lost Coast Brewery's Down Town Brown Ale is dark in color without the heavy taste of porter or stout.
