Effective insulation greatly improves the energy efficiency of a hot tub. There are several different styles of hot tub insulation: some manufacturers fill the entire cabinet with foam, while others insulate the underside of the shell, the inside of the cabinet, or both. Not surprisingly, many manufacturers advertise the superiority of their approach to insulation, but few independent side-by-side comparisons are available. The hot tub pump and hot tub heater represent most of the power consumption in a hot tub and vary in use of power depending on their size. Energy efficiency of the tubs has been studied by the Pacific Gas and Electric Company, and after this study, both the California Energy Commission and National Resources Canada have taken an interest in the energy efficiency of portable hot tubs. California's portable electric hot tub listing include R Values of thermal insulation, and standby watts. Hot tub covers have been shown to reduce most of the evaporative losses from the pool when not in use. With this component of heat loss being 70% a cover with even a small R-value is able to achieve as much as a 75% reduction in heating costs when used as opposed to leaving the water surface exposed.
Port-wine stains, also known as nevus flammeus and sometimes mistaken for strawberry marks, are present at birth and range from a pale pink in color, to a deep wine-red. Irregular in appearance, they are usually quite large, and caused by a deficiency or absence in the nerve supply to blood vessels. This causes vasodilation, the dilation of blood vessels, causing blood to pool or collect in the affected area. Over time, port-wine stains may become thick or develop small ridges or bumps, and do not fade with age. Such birthmarks may have emotional or social repercussions. Port-wine stains occur in 0.3% of the population, equally among males and females, and express unilaterally, i.e., on only one side, not crossing the midline of the body.
Aircraft tires are amazing when you think about it. The typical airliner tire can handle a 38-ton load, meeting the ground 500 times before needing a re-tread which can take on seven times in its life. The key to their remarkable durability is maximizing the air pressure. Airliner tires are typically inflated to 200 psi -- which is roughly six times what you put in an automobile tire -- and the tires on an fighter jet are pumped to around 320 psi. So to properly inflate this underinflated front tire, where am I and my handy dandy bicycle pump headed to?

Thought you would like this. I wish they did not blur out the good parts, but you can tell that they are all smooth as a bowling ball. Eric
don't know why this one bugged me so much. usually I just take whatever is thrown at me, but Ron's idea the back tattoo reads "thankyou" just didn't sit with me. I don't really have a solution, just wanted to think out loud. But I don't think this one is solved. Always fun...thanks Ernie! Dave
Finding Nemo is a 2003 American computer-animated comedy-drama adventure film produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures. Written and directed by Andrew Stanton with co-direction by Lee Unkrich, the film stars the voices of Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Alexander Gould, and Willem Dafoe. It tells the story of the overprotective Ocellaris clownfish named Marlin who, along with a regal blue tang named Dory, searches for his abducted son Nemo all the way to Sydney Harbour. Along the way, Marlin learns to take risks and comes to terms with Nemo taking care of himself. The film was dedicated to Glenn McQueen, a Pixar animator who died of melanoma in October 2002. Finding Nemo shares many plot elements with Pierrot the Clownfish, a children's book published in 2002, but allegedly conceived in 1995. The author, Franck Le Calvez, sued Disney for infringement of his intellectual rights and to bar Finding Nemo merchandise in France. The judge ruled against him, citing the color differences between Pierrot and Nemo.
You know this is going to be a really simply one that's been staring me in the face, but what's the deal with this pillow? At first I thought the song, but 'Copacabana' is all one word and the pillow looks like it's two words.
