Wow, Time Flies When You're Working Like A Fucking Dog Again.

A fire screen sheet began as a form of furniture that acted as a shield between the occupants of a room and the fireplace, and its primary function was to reduce the discomfort of excessive heat from a log fire. Early firescreens were generally shaped as flat panels standing on attached feet, or as adjustable shield-shaped panels mounted on tripod table legs. Firescreens in the modern home have become decorative shields of sheet metal, glass, or wire mesh that can be placed in front of a fireplace opening to protect the room from open flames and flying embers that may be emitted by the fire. Fire screens were used to cover the fireplace when nothing was burning inside it, and make it look more decorative.

The United Kingdom's Prevention of Crime Act 1953 prohibits the possession in any public place of an offensive weapon without lawful authority or reasonable excuse. The term "offensive weapon" is defined as: "any article made or adapted for use to causing injury to the person, or intended by the person having it with him for such use". Under the Prevention of Crime Act, otherwise 'exempt' knives carried for "good reason or lawful authority" may be still deemed illegal if authorities conclude the knife is being carried as an "offensive weapon". In recent years, the Prevention of Crime Act 1953 has been reinterpreted by police and public prosecutors, who have persuaded the courts to minimize exceptions to prosecution on the grounds that the defendant had "lawful authority or reasonable excuse" in order to apply the Act to a wide variety of cases. Can you find these offensive weapons?

Here you are young lad. Marc

Hey Ernie, The balloon image is from a Banksy work called There is Always Hope. Here is more info:. Regards from a fellow Ernie, Ernie

White slavery historically refers to the enslavement of Europeans by non-Europeans, as part of the Arab, Barbary and Ottoman slave trades, as well as by Europeans, such as the Viking's slaves or European Galley slaves. From Antiquity, European slaves were common during the reign of Ancient Rome. The most modern use of the term can also mean sexual slavery, including forced prostitution and human trafficking. Several acts such as the Emergency Quota Act of 1921 and the Immigration Act of 1924 were passed to prevent emigrants from Europe and Asia from entering the United States. Following the banning of immigrants during the 1920s, human trafficking was not considered a major issue until the 1990s. Can you find where this poor slave girl is being led away by her new owner?

Hey Ern, Sorry to hear about the time clock disease you recently acquired. I miss the daylies(sic). Anyway, I was doing my monthly redistribution of wealth at Sam's Club last week and there was this older guy at a sample kiosk with a piece of a burger on a bun. I gave it a try and it exploded with flavor in my mouth. He was repping a local restaurant called Slater's 50/50. The 50/50 refers to the burger patty that is 50% sirloin and 50% bacon. Whodathought? Anyway, I had to try it and this place is one giant artery busting culinary pleasure palace. Far and away the best burger I have ever eaten. Think of it as the most exclusive whore house in Austrailia that only provided burgers. They're only here in So Cal and in Texas so far, but they're trying to franchise nationally. If you ever get out this way this place will make you forget all of your troubles. Big D

It's a red balloon! "nuff sed. Skip from G.R.

While her tattoo was indeed Banksy, I think Skip nailed it in regards to what I was trying to remember from when I was a kid. I think shit was on HBO when cable first came out or something.

A footbridge is a bridge designed for pedestrians and in some cases cyclists, animal traffic, and horse riders, instead of vehicular traffic. Footbridges complement the landscape and can be used decoratively to visually link two distinct areas or to signal a transaction. In many developed countries, footbridges are both functional and can be beautiful works of art and sculpture. For poor rural communities in the developing world, a footbridge may be a community's only access to medical clinics, schools and markets, which would otherwise be unreachable when rivers are too high to cross. Is there any chance you can find this footbridge to a lighthouse?
