Ernie, Vets are certainly in my heart one of the many reasons I love your web site. I work as a civilian for DOD and recently did an assignment overseas giving me an even more in depth feeling of honor for the people serving to keep us free. Living in the DC area a very special event is rolling thunder and all the events of memorial day. We went early to be able to enjoy and watch the experience unfold. It was my wife's first bike ride to the wall and we took several pictures as we do normally "for her scrap booking" nothing staged just for memories When we got back she set up the slide show to share with friends. I shared with friends who are touched by the power of the wall and as a devoted Ernie fan we both thought you might find it interesting. She was obviously moved by this event, the energy on a regular day is enormous, Memorial Day at the wall beyond belief.
